Gigabit Broadband Reaches Filey and Pickering
Following significant investment by Nexfibre, Virgin Media’s ultrafast gigabit broadband is now available to an additional 14,000 homes across Filey and Pickering.
With speeds up to 30 times faster than the local average, this rollout marks a major step forward in digital connectivity for residents and businesses in the area.
Cellex are proud to have played a key role in delivering this network expansion, supporting the infrastructure build that enables faster, more reliable internet access across North Yorkshire.
To mark the launch, #TeamVirginMedia&Cellex visited the Filey area to take part in the companies ‘Take Fire’ volunteering initiative.
Colleagues generously gave their time to support four local Age UK charity shops, helping to raise vital funds and strengthen ties within the community.
This project reflects the power of partnership, combining innovative infrastructure delivering with a strong commitment to social impact.
